The Spring Hill Opera Lovers Club was formed five years ago by a small group of opera lovers who wanted to learn more about opera and enjoy the fellowship of kindred spirits. We cover a variety of opera-related topics at our meetings.

Members of the opera group will be attending performances of two operas in the 2009-2010 TBPAC season, Lucia di Lammermoor and La Rondine as well as a concert by soprano, Renee Fleming..

Before attending the operas we discuss the structure, plot, history, and important things to listen for. After each show we discuss our impressions of the music, the singing, the production, etc. At other meetings we invite guest speakers to enlighten us on some aspect of opera.
